Ryan
Dunlap is no stranger to online fundraising site Kickstarter. He has successfully used the site to fund a
few projects. Previously, he exceeded
his $3,000 goal for his book and film project The Wind Merchant and Greyscale. The project was a steampunk adventure novel
and "neo-noir" film.
He has done it again with the children's book,
The
Littlest Clockwork inspired by his previous novel. As of today Dunlap has raised $6,136.00
surpassing the initial goal of $6,000.
Budding writers out there trying to find a
way to make their print dreams come true site like Kickstarter are great
resources. As Dunlap has proven with
hard work and word-of-mouth it is possible.
There are those out there willing to pledge for an interesting and original
story.
